Safety audits
Periodic safety audits and maintenance of industrial forklifts, diesel engines and other ATEX equipment must be carried out applying the IEC/EN 60079-17 standard and referring to the manufacturer's indications regarding the maintenance and verification intervals, in order to ensure that the integrity and safety of the equipment is not compromised during its working lifetime.
A vital aspect to this is the qualification and training of responsible personnel. Maintenance and safety audits in the ATEX field must be carried out by fully trained and experienced personnel.
Excen guarantees the implementation of periodic audits of our own personnel and also with Excen trained technicians of our partners.

Training and refresher courses specifically designed for technicians who are involved and responsible for the maintenance of machines, engines and ATEX apparatuses, are periodically held both in our Headquarters Training Centre in Italy and at customers sites world-wide.
Our instructors are certified "Ism-ATEX Instructor" and "IECEx Competent Person" by International bodies according to the strictest of the protocols.
Excen organises specific courses for partners' sales personnel in order to provide the best possible technical-commercial support to end users, thus enabling them to choose with confidence the most suitable solution for their working environments that are subject to the potential risk of explosion.
Technical assistance and maintenance
At all times, the safety and proper functioning of ATEX and IECEx industrial trucks and equipment, such as forklifts, generator sets, compressors, diesel engines, switch cabinets, batteries, solar systems, etc., are warranted by Excen support.
We have a team of field service technicians who can be deployed world-wide in order to provide fault-finding, repair, maintenance and commissioning, as well as on-site support of installation.
In order to minimise and reduce downtimes, Excen can also provide forklift trucks from our rental fleet.
Rental of ATEX forklifts
During peak season demands, or whilst waiting for a new ATEX forklift, or simply to expand an existing fleet without committing to the purchase of a new machine - Excen can support you from its own fleet of ATEX Forklifts that are available on either short or long-term rental.
We offer ATEX electric pallet, stackers, reach and counterbalance trucks to meet the majority of the needs and requirements in ATEX classified areas.
