In the Netherlands’ capital Amsterdam, with its strong historical contrasts between past and present, technological perspectives of the future and people-friendly spaces, the biennial trade fair ‘Interclean’, held from 14 to 17 May 2024, has just ended.
The world’s leading trade show for professional cleaning and hygiene offers its visitors a detailed and comprehensive overview of innovative and proven products and solutions, with exhibitors from over 120 countries worldwide.
Some quick numbers: over 900 exhibitors, 11 halls and 30,000 visitors.
During the trade fair, flawlessly organised at RAI Amsterdam, many new products in the cleaning sector were presented, with particular interest in I-mops and Robots!
European companies have always been very active in this field and bring continuous innovation and quality to existing market.
Specifically, in cleaning solutions for all those areas with a risk of explosion, current standards and regulations, mandates the use of machines with ATEX certification.
Always present on the market, the main vacuum cleaner manufacturers have therefore developed specific, dedicated machines.
This year, one of the most interesting innovations was presented by KLINMAK, which, in cooperation with EXCEN, unveiled an innovative ride-on scrubber-dryer; this machine stood out, in particular, for its high technology ‘on board’, modern design and great innovation in ATEX field.
The scrubber-dryer designed and manufactured by EXCEN together with its partner KLINMAK is in fact certified for Zone 2 and 22 (ATEX 3G and 3D) and has the great advantage of complying with ATEX regulations natively, avoiding post-production conversion that, for this type of machines, is technically disadvantageous.
This brings assistance, warranty and spare parts supplied directly by the manufacturer.
Other unique features include: AC motors; a maintenance-free battery; optimal energy savings due to the use of a single motor driving the two brushes (Klinmak patented); mobility and manoeuvrability equal to a “walk-behind scrubber-dryer”, but with the productivity and performances of a “ride-on scrubber-dryer”.
