September on the Road: Excen at 3 Industry Events

September was a busy month for the Excen team — and a rewarding one. From Southeast Asia to Northern Europe, we took part in 3 industry events that gave us the chance to meet clients, partners and professionals from very different corners of the world:

OGA 2026 — Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia | 2-4 September

Oil & Gas Asia is one of the most important energy events in the Asia-Pacific region, and this year's edition did not disappoint. With over 33,000 visitors and 5,000 exhibitors from around the world, the atmosphere at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre was energetic from day one.

Our Sales Manager Simone Bolognesi and Oil&Gas Area Reference Ilaria Dondon and local representative René Sowald, represented Excen at booth 5112 for 3 full days of conversations, product presentations and networking. The interest in our ATEX and IECEx solutions was strong, particularly in the oil & gas and petrochemical sectors.

A highlight of the event was the reception hosted by Italian Ambassador Raffaele Langella for Italian companies exhibiting at OGA — a proud moment for our team.

We also received a Certificate of Commendation from the organizers for our commitment to sustainability through the Better Stands Programme.

Simone was also interviewed live at the show, discussing ATEX solutions and the value of face-to-face networking in our industry:

B-CLOSE Intralogistic Day 2026 — Ghent, Belgium | 17 September

A few weeks later, Simone and Area Manager Cyril Chauffard travelled to Ghent for the B-CLOSE Intralogistic Day — a focused one-day event bringing together over 35 exhibitors around the challenges of modern intralogistics: internal transport, warehouse efficiency, safety and technology.

A great opportunity to stay connected with the intralogistics community and explore where the sector is heading.

Heffiq Event — Nijmegen, The Netherlands | 23-24 September

Our third stop of the month was in the Netherlands, for an event organized by Heffiq, held at the Hyster Yale facility — where training sessions regularly take place.

Mr. Simone Bolognesi and Northern Europe Area Reference Giorgia Mandina spent the day collecting direct feedback from the sales team, sharing ideas and discussing ongoing projects with partners also present at the event.

The kind of conversation that only happens when you are in the same room.

A Month Worth Travelling For

3 countries, 3 events, 1 clear message: being present — physically, not just digitally — still makes all the difference in building the relationships that matter.
