With over 60 years of specialised experience, the words that best describe what the work of Excen is all about are: prevention – safeguarding – protection – assurance – care – attention.

Wherever there is the risk of explosion, then paramount is the safety for people, the environment, and the protection of investments.
Producing safety: the most effective way to solve problems is to first prevent them from being created, providing this with tailor-made solutions for each customer’s different needs.
We carry out explosion protection of electric and diesel machines, making them suitable for operation in potentially explosives atmospheres. We also produce equipment to ensure safety in chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food & beverage, cosmetics, oil & gas, and explosives industries in civilian and military use.

History

Throughout history, facts and feelings are inextricably intertwined.
Facts are as a result of choices, and choice comes from will, from interest and often from passion, whereas the notions of prevention and safety – these have always steadfastly come from within the structure of the company.
The company by the time of its inception in 1996, was already long founded on an entrepreneurial tradition for engineering safety since 1948.
So, we are our history, our choices, our will, our commitment. It is about people acknowledging a common work whereby achievements are attained through the pursuit of excellence, originality and innovation.
